I don't know her personally, but this girl goes to my school, and I think she's my photographic hero. Seriously, her photo essay for last year (which is part of my school's website), is one of the most genuine and touching I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of them in the past year.

I'm growing more and more uneasy with my own photos. For years, I was spoiled by the blogging world and the flickertons, and now I'm in an environment where practically everyone is a million times more talented than I could EVER be. I'd say that this year's #1 lesson at school has been that I am no photographer. My classmates and other people at school are amazing. They really, really are.

Hopefully next year I will be making more money than I am currently (and I don't know how). Digital SLR cameras are required for 2nd year photojournalism students, and all I have is Narni. She's nice, but she's no SLR. What will I do?!

In the meantime, I am moving in 4 days, and... ahem... although I have not said anything, there have been several new "developments" in my life : ). Insert a *cough, cough* here. However, we shall do nothing more than cough right now, because there is no need to spoil all the surprises in my first post in a long time. There needs to be something to talk about next March, when I post again ; )...
